Representative Stephen Wood of Sabattus is serving his sixth, non-consecutive, term in the Maine House of Representatives representing District 30, which includes the towns of Green and Sabattus. Steve serves on the 132nd Legislature’s Joint Standing Committee on Inland Fisheries and Wildlife.
Rep. Wood served for twenty years in the United States Navy as an Aviation Hydraulic Technician from 1981-2001. A Master Maine Guide, Steve owns and operates J&S Guide Service in his hometown of Sabattus. He serves his community as a Free Mason at the Webster Lodge, and as a member of the American Legion Post 135. Steve is also a member of the Maine Professional Guides Association.
Steve and his wife, Jean, have three children; Steve, Sarah, and Nicole. In his spare time, Rep. Wood enjoys spending time outdoors hunting, fishing, and boating.
