Representative James “Jim” White of Guilford is currently serving his first term representing House District 30, which includes the towns of Abbot, Barnard Township, Beaver Cove, Bowerbank, Elliottsville Township, Greenville, Greenville Junction, Guilford, Kingsbury Plantation, Monson, Parkman, Sangerville, Sebec, Shirley, Wellington, Willimantic, Big Moose Township, Bowdoin College Grant East Township, Chesuncook Township, Cove Point Township, Days Academy Grant Township, Frenchtown Township, Harfords Point Township, Kineo Township, Lily Bay Township, Moosehead Junction Township, Northeast Carry Township, Shawtown Township, Sugar Island Township, Williamsburg Township, Brighton Plantation, Blanchard, Northeast Piscataquis, Northwest Piscataquis, and Cambridge. Jim serves on the 131st Legislature’s Joint Standing Committee on Transportation.
Rep. White served in the United States Navy for six years from 1986-1993 as an engineer. He is a career gunsmith and truck driver.
Jim and his wife, Tricia, have three children; Joshua, Jacob, and Haleigh.
