Rep. Austin Theriault

Western Aroostook County

Representative Austin Theriault of Fort Kent is serving his first term, representing District 1, which includes the St. John Valley and Western Aroostook.  He currently serves the 131st Legislature’s Joint Standing Committee on Transportation.

Rep. Theriault is currently pursuing his secondary education at the University of Maine at Presque Isle.  This after an accomplished NASCAR racing career spanning from 2014-2019.  Austin currently owns a small motorsports business with locations in Maine and North Carolina. The company specializes in driver development, management, and performance optimization. 

Austin is a member of the Sportsman’s Alliance of Maine and is a Federal Aviation Administration certified pilot.  Austin enjoys outdoor activities as well as supporting charitable causes, around our military service members, and people dealing with chronic health conditions.

Rep. Theriault is a graduate of Fort Kent Community High School and credits the education he received as giving him the confidence to pursue his career goals.
