Representative Wayne Parry of Arundel is currently serving his seventh non-consecutive term representing House District 140, which includes the towns of Arundel, Dayton, and part of Lyman. He serves as the Ranking Member of the 132nd Legislature’s Joint Standing Committee on Transportation. This is his seventh term on that committee, and fifth term as Republican Lead. Rep. Parry has also previously served on the Joint Standing Committee on Marine Resources.
Rep. Parry is a lifelong Mainer who graduated from Windham High School. He started his career as a truck driver for the Coca-Cola company for almost ten years. After that experience, Wayne worked as stern man on a lobster boat for three years, saving enough money to buy his own boat and found a bait company. Wayne is currently the owner and operator of a commercial lobster fishing boat.
Wayne is a member of the York County Fish and Game Association.
