Rep. Wayne Parry

State Representative, House District 140

Arundel, Dayton, and part of Lyman

Representative Wayne Parry of Arundel is currently serving his sixth term representing House District 140, which includes the towns of Arundel, Dayton, and part of Lyman.  He serves on the 131st Legislature’s Joint Standing Committee on Transportation, as he has for six total terms. Four of those terms, he served as the Republican Lead.  Rep. Parry has also previously served on the Joint Standing Committee on Marine Resources.

Rep. Parry is a lifelong Mainer who graduated from Windham High School.  He started his career as a truck driver for the Coca-Cola company for almost ten years.  After that experience, Wayne worked as stern man on a lobster boat for three years, saving enough money to buy his own boat and found a bait company.  Wayne is currently the owner and operator of a commercial lobster fishing boat.

Wayne is a member of the York County Fish and Game Association.
