Minot and part of Auburn

Representative Laurel Libby of Auburn is currently serving her second term representing House District 90, which includes the towns of Minot and part of Auburn.  She serves on the 131st Legislature’s Joint Standing Committee on Taxation.  Previously, Rep. Libby served on the Joint Standing Committee on Judiciary.

Rep. Libby earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Roberts Wesleyan College in Rochester, New York.  Mrs. Libby’s career experience includes working as an ICU nurse at Maine Medical Center in Portland and at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Lewiston.  She is the founder of Dawson Interiors, an interior decorating and real estate staging company.

Laurel and her husband, John, have five children; Emily, Sophia, Jude, Dawson, and Ilse.  In her free time, Mrs. Libby enjoys running, reading, and game night with family and friends.
