Representative Laurel Libby of Auburn is currently serving her third term representing House District 90, which includes the towns of Minot and part of Auburn. Rep. Libby serves on the 132nd Legislature’s Joint Standing Committee on Labor. She has previously served on the Taxation and Judiciary committees.
Rep. Libby earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Roberts Wesleyan College in Rochester, New York. Mrs. Libby’s career experience includes working as an ICU nurse at Maine Medical Center in Portland and at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Lewiston. She is the founder of Dawson Interiors, an interior decorating and real estate staging company.
Laurel and her husband, John, have five children; Emily, Sophia, Jude, Dawson, and Ilse. In her free time, Mrs. Libby enjoys running, reading, and game night with family and friends.
