Rep. Abigail Griffin

State Representative, House District 34

Glenburn, Kenduskeag, and Levant

Representative Abigail Griffin of Levant is currently serving her third term representing House District 34, which includes the towns of Glenburn, Kenduskeag, and Levant.  She serves on the 131st Legislature’s Joint Standing Committee on Health and Human Services. 

Rep. Griffin earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from Skidmore College in 1977.  Before serving as legislator, she was a long-time classroom teacher.  Rep. Griffin has also served her community as a member of the Longterm Care Commission, and she is currently the Co-Chair of the Caucus on Aging.

Abigail and her husband, James, have five children and six grandchildren.  Abigail enjoys spending her time reading, gardening, and being with her two American Quarter Horses.
