Durham, Pownal, and parts of Bowdoin, Lisbon and Topsham.

Representative Joseph Galletta of Durham is serving his first term in the Maine House representing District 98. The district includes the towns of Durham and Pownal, as well as parts of Lisbon, Bowdoin, and Topsham. He currently serves the 131st Legislature’s Joint Standing Committee on Labor and Housing.

Rep. Galletta is concerned about the fractious political atmosphere, the need to reduce taxes, and to reverse policies that are driving up the price of gas and other goods in Maine.

Rep. Galletta is a small business owner with a long career in the automotive industry. He and his wife Jennifer live in Durham. Together, they have three children; Kara, Lindsey, and Ryanne.

Joe attended Keene State College from 1985-1990.
