Check out state website to see what’s on the ballot

With eight questions appearing on the upcoming referendum election ballot scheduled for Nov. 7, I wish to make certain that my constituents are aware of what to expect when they head to the polls to vote or in the event they choose to vote absentee. It is imperative that the electorate take the time to inform themselves before casting their ballot.

The Bureau of Corporations, Elections, and Commissions within the Department of the Secretary of State has posted on its website (www.maine.gov/sos/cec/elec/upcoming/index.html) the full listing of questions and other voter information to help one find their polling place, as well as how to apply for an absentee ballot.

In the event constituents cannot access the referendum details online, I am happy to send them a copy if they reach out to be at 485-1308.
