Representative Daniel Newman of Belgrade is currently serving his second term representing House District 58, which includes the towns of Belgrade, Fayette, Mount Vernon, New Sharon, Rome, and Vienna. He serves on the 131st Legislature’s Joint Standing Committee on Criminal Justice and Public Safety just as he did in his previous term.
Rep. Newman has served the people of Belgrade for three years on the town budget committee and for twelve years on the Select Board. No stranger to public service, Representative Newman has also served his community and surrounding towns as a Lieutenant on the Belgrade Fire Department.
